My SO had to get a tetanus shot (TD) at the end of Feb due to getting hurt on the job. I know its recommended that he gets the TDAP. I asked my dr for advice on whether he can get TDAP and he seemed unsure due to it being another dose of tetanus. I called the health department and they said they'd do it but probably not until May and I'm due the May 15th. Walgreens Pharmacy refused to do it without a drs note but since he is uninsured he can't get a drs note. Has anyone been through this or know what our options are? Should he just skip the TDAP for now?
