A lot of things affect the smell- coffee and asparagus, for example. If you have any other symptoms it wouldn't hurt to get checked but if it's been the same for years it's probably just something consistently in your diet.

It could be a diet thing or it could be an infection. Maybe go see your doctor and explain you would like them to do a dip test on a urine sample to see if anything shows up.
