Zika are you scared?

Question

Anyone else freaking out over zika? Am I just being overly neurotic about the whole thing? What are your thoughts?

I'm not scared. Why? We always have a risk of getting sick.

Where I live the West Nile bitters are out already.

I wouldn't go to places that are affected because I don't think it's worth the risk. We changed plans for our honeymoon this summer and we're going to Scandinavia and Russia instead of the Caribbean.  I can't imagine how scary it must be for pregnant or ttc ladies living in affected areas.

Amniocentesis... If i get pregnant... I will get it done... at week eleven.. .. Makes no sense bringing a baby into this world to live that kind of life... In the end all life may be sacred but what about the quality of life..... To me it would be a mercy killing.... Dont care who rags on me for being honest... I live in the Caribbean.

Well... I've been a mosquito magnet since the beginning of time. I can only live on faith, not fear. But my peanut rainbow baby is a blessing, so I have faith he and I will be blessed on this journey. 
But our sucks your can barely see mosquitoes until it's too late...

Nope not worried. Would I go to Brazil right now? No.. But otherwise, we're fine. I just went to st thomas and asked a few locals about it, they laughed and said we are all crazy for being afraid. Its not even spoken of there because no one has gotten it. The only thing its done is to cause these tourist spots that rely on visitors to lose so much money.

Nope. But the h1n1 flu virus is going around the city i live in and 3 people have died in the past month from it (I don't live in a very big city either) so I'm a little scared of that so I went out and got my flu shot today and making hubby get his ASAP.
