Can babies eat too much?

My 9wk old is acting like he's hungry way more then normal. I feed him anytime he acts hungry but just wondering if he's not hungry just fussy but if he wasn't hungry would he still eat just for the sake of eating haha I know I do. Ladies do your babies refuse the boob or bottle if they're not hungry or do they just eat non-stop?

My oldest son weighed 6lbs 12 oz when he was born . And at his 7 week check up he weighed 20lbs 6 oz . He was breastfed and ate every hour .

You can't over feed a breastfed baby, but it is easy to over feed a bottle fed baby (whether it is formula or breastmilk). They get the food faster so it takes longer to feel full. 
Babies feed more often when they are trying to increase your milk supply. So even if you feel you don't have enough, it is their way of boosting it

Babies often cluster feed and it's normal for them to every hour and a half. They schedule better as they get older!
