TTC sucks sometimes... Help?

So, started round 2 of Clomid. I hate this process. It sucks. Me and hubbs are still optimistic but also frustrated, trying to keep sex fun but getting to that point where it also feels scheduled. Can anyone give me pointers for how to navigate the fertile window without sex feeling like a job? The rest of the month is fine, but lately during that week it hasn't happened because we are putting so much pressure that one or both of us aren't "into it". And considering with the meds especially, we have like 2 months left to get it right before doc might want IUI- which neither of us want, and 5 days each month to figure out a way to not have pressured, yet pressured sex. Ugh.

Oh girl, I am right there with. Hubs & I are starting to dread sex. I've had my hsg & all the labs & everything is normal...next step for us is the post-coital exam, which is super sexy🙄🙄🙄. We have to have sex once we get a positive opk (bc those are so easy to read) & go to his office the next morning to see if my cm is slaughtering his swimmers. We are putting that off to see if we have any luck after the hsg.

Oh gril I tried clomid 3 months didn't work, tried some massage on the abdomen for the ovaries, now trying some maca they said its good for hormones and fertility, my doc want us to do IVF straight because UIU has low percent so I don't know but our sex life has become like a job and every time I just think of getting pregnant not in having a good time. Im really hoping u can work through all this Im trying but its really hard, This week I gave up Im just going to try have a good time and it happens good if not maybe 3 months will go through ivf. I been taking maca and been doing exercise its working for my stress. BABY dust to all of us!!!!

You know a fun thing to do is have a sex ban.  Take the pressure off (I get that you  ned to end up having sex, bear with me). Play a game.  Pretend you are younger, like in your teens and that you are dating but have never had sex before.

You have to stay on the sofa for an hour.  You must not have sex.  You cannot put your hands in each others pants even.  You can only kiss and play from the waist up.  After an hour you will hopefully be excited to be allowed to have sex.

I don't know anything about using clomid, but I am someone that gets bored very easily, even with sex since it's not really my thing. Since I have a hyper active imagination, something like role play sounds exciting (although I'm personally too shy to try it.) But it could really change things up. I'm a big romance person though, so maybe taking that time to really focus on yourself and your hubby. Like take a romantic cooking class or a couples massage. Or dancing!  Something where you can focused and connect with each other to reignite sex. Or maybe do sexy pottery like in "Ghost". Or go hiking or biking! I know it sounds silly, but sometimes adventurous activities can spice things up. 
Sorry, I'm very vanilla when it comes to sex. But changing things up and reconnecting is what works for me.

My husband felt the pressure when he knew I was most fertile too so I don't tell him now I just do a bit more to him so he can't resist lol

I'm not sure if this would be any help Michelle. But I was in my last month of trying before I was to meet with a specialist when someone told me about the SMEP. My SO and me were so tired and fed up. It was getting harder and harder to get motivated. It felt more like a job then anything else. Then we tried the smep in July. I don't know how clomid works. But what we did was tracked ovulation with the home kit. When we got the positive we did the deed 3 days in a row, took a days break did it again and that's all we did that month in regards to ttc. Because we knew that was the only time we had to do it for a purpose we actually enjoyed spontaneous sex before and after we got the positive OPK. We felt much more relaxed. And I got my bfp in August.

It's hard not to let it become a chore when it's so scheduled. We had that problem the first time around. Maybe you could try new things during those few days to spice things up. Like new sexy undies, watching sexy movies / porn to get in the mood, reading erotic literature, taking turns massaging each other - that kind of thing or whatever you're into. Trying new things might take your mind of how planned it all is.

We really struggled with this,  we ended up getting pregnant when we went away for the weekend to dublin and it happened to coincide with my window.

TTC sucks sometimes... Help?
