Restart exercise in 2nd Trimester?

Before becoming pregnant I was very active and was running and boxing regularly. However, my morning sickness has been terrible - feel nauseous all day and vomit morning & night so the last thing I can bring myself to do is get to the gym. Can I restart my exercise in the 2nd trimester when sickness is (hopefully) gone? Or will I need to stay with just walking/swimming? I'm currently 8w5d.
