Child behavior
I love my stepdaughter a lot but she is only 3 years old and has been hitting me recently, not all the time mostly just during tantrums or if she's testing. My husband has not addressed it because he said he thinks ignoring the behavior is best to not give it attention- she occasionally hits or bites him too but it happens to me more often. Personally, I don't like being hit and feel it should be addressed, especially since I'm worried because I'm pregnant and have a fear of her hitting the baby. I certainly won't be able to ignore if my baby is being hit. Does anyone have any suggestions for this age group to address hitting/biting/tantrums, if you even believe it should be addressed or is hubby right to ignore it completely?
