Who has ever had to have a scan to check ovaries etc?

I have been booked for a scan because my doctor wants to check my ovaries. I don't know if it's going to be internal or external but when you have to go for one of these scans will other things like my fallopian tubes be checked too? I'm just worried because I recently had to get treated for chlamydia which I caught off a cheating partner and I read it can cause blocked tubes.
