Does anyone else have Hyperemesis gravidarum (HG) ?

Hyperemesis gravidarum (HG) is a complication of pregnancy that is characterized by severe nausea and vomiting such that weight loss and dehydration occur. Signs and symptoms may include vomiting several times a day and feeling faint. It is more severe than morning sickness.

I was diagnosed with this and had to go to ER twice for fluids. I also lost 10 lbs. I had to take medicine twice a day and I also wear sea bands on my wrist. It's been rough but I am now 9 weeks and for the past couple days I have been feeling better and didn't have to take meds and been eating so maybe it does get better the further along you get. I know the struggle so I wish you all the best.

I am 10 weeks and have been to the hospital twice. It's been awful. I have no appetite and I don't know when i'm hungry till i'm shacking or throwing up. I feel like I'm hurting the baby and it scares me everytime I throw up stomach acid because my body shakes so much. I hate it. I hope it goes away soon. First pregnancy too

It takes the fun out of pregnancy. I really forgot how awful it is and I'm just trying to see the light and not become too depressed. I can barely take care of myself let alone my two daughters. Thankfully I have an amazing husband. I've been in for fluids and take meds every couple of hrs but still have the nausea and sometimes still vomit multiple times a day. 8 weeks today and if I remember right I started feeling better around 16 weeks last time. Half way there 😰

It's a drain,  I had was diagnosed recently and was told it could be the prenatal vitamins.  I'm 11 weeks and its gradually going away,  good luck.: )
