Early scan

Hi I booked and early scan for next Friday in an early clinic,i dont have my first app in the maternity hospital until 13 weeks so dont really want to wait that long to check everything is OK ,they said I could get it done between 8 and 12,but I'll only be 8 getting it done,, it's costly so just wondering would much show at 8 weeks?? Or would I be better off waiting a few more?
