I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes 3 weeks ago. A week and a half ago at my doctors appointment she told me to start taking my blood sugar 4 times a day and I have an appointment with an endocrinologist coming up this week. My fasting numbers are never high and the highest my blood sugar has been is 134.. 30 minutes after eating a cupcake. It does run slightly high after breakfast when at work (stress?!) But usually it is fine. I ate a gravy biscuit and hash browns this morning and it was 82 after 2 hours!
