Are you a grammar or spelling freak?!

Doesn't it drive you nuts when someone misspells something? I'm not talking about an autocorrect accident on the phone; just pure ignorance for proper spelling and grammar usage. I hate when people don't spell out "you" or "to" or "be" you're saving one or two letters?! You look unintelligent and lazy when you do that!

Agreed! I've seen topics with "Pregnet" instead of pregnant. Really? That word is spelled correctly all over this app. How in the world do you misspell that??? Sometimes I wonder if it's just people purposely doing it to get a rise out of people because their grammar is that poorly put. It's kind of sad and pathetic either way you look at it.

It bothers me a lot when I see grammar, syntax, or spelling issues, but I try to keep those feelings to myself. Not everyone has the same educational opportunities, some people have health reasons that make it difficult for them, or maybe English isn't their first language. What bothers me much more than errors are people who give people shit for making them.

I won a spelling bee so spelling is one of my things lol and when my manager misspells things in emails it drives me crazy because minimum requirement to get a job where I'm at is a bachelors degree and to be in that position you either have to have your masters or you have an allotted time to get your masters.

I'm in a professional field, and my whole office txts & emails work info using shorthand.  (u, 2, b..)

Some misspellings are rough because I can't figure out what they're saying, but I believe this is a widespread app where a lot of users may not speak English as their first language.

Maybe these people are illiterate and are trying their hardest to spell but unfortunately not everyone are perfect spellers. I text type 'you' is 'u' and 'your' is 'ur' etc. Does not mean I am trying to be a teenager slanging my words saving on one letter it's just quicker. I am pretty spot on with spellings but I will not take the p!ss out of someone who can't. What is the matter with all your bitchiness??? Just saying .........
