Bassinet?

Question

My hubby and I bought a crib for baby a couple weeks ago, but we were wondering how many of you use a bassinet or have experience with one. I plan to exclusively breastfeed so I will want the baby close, but I also don't want to roll over on him in my sleep. Do you guys think a bassinet is a good idea?

Arms reach co-sleeper. My nephew loves it until he realized his sister slept with me and he wanted to too so then it was all over and he's still in my bed. Also King size pillow cases h

I had a rock n play for the first 3-4 months and loved it. He was within reach for nighttime feelings, yet in his own spot so I wouldn't wake every 20 minutes with his little movements.

I'm putting this bassinet at my bedside for the first few months. It swings side to side, but you can't put a pin in it to prevent that and you can't take the crib part off and use it for a little play pen like thing. 
(Excuse the fact the picture is taken outside, my grandma bought it for me and was so excited she took the picture to show me before actually getting it into the truck to get it home. Lol.)

I'm going to be using a bassinet for my baby during the first few months. He'll be right next to our bed and safe. We're going to buy the bassinet before the crib since we won't be putting him in it for awhile anyway.

I have 2 boys 6 and 3 and I remember very well that their bassinets helped immensely the first few months. My daughter will be here in June and I got hers already set up in my room :) It really makes breast feeding and midnight diaper changes a lot easier.

I got a co sleeper basket so I can keep baby in my bed and not worry about mushing it lol. I'll be breastfeeding as well and don't want to have to get up every few hours.

I had a crib but also a bassinet that I used for the first 3 months in my room. It's easier especially when they are newborns.

I used the pack n play and after 2 months put my daughter in the crib. I never had the bassinet.
