Dark brown discharge???

Hi. I'm 44 and ttc our first baby. My AF was a week late so thought I was pregnant, but yesterday I had a weird dark brown discharge (not like a normal period), and today it's almost gone. Any ideas? I'm too scared to do a test just yet :-(

I had this at the beginning of my period then had my period this has never happened before I've just turned 46

It could possibly be implantation bleeding. I would take a test for sure! Hoping for a BFP for you!! 😊
