Acid reflux?

Has anyone else got it and how do I make it stop? ☹️ it started about 3 days ago and my throat keeps burning and making me gag at everything. I just got medication for my morning sickness in order and now this.

My doctor said tums is okay to take if it gets really bad. He said do not take anything with aspirin like pepto. But I've just been trying to stick it out. I don't want to be on too much meds while pregnant.

Ask your Dr if you can take Zantac (ranitidine). My Dr okayed if for me.

Squeeze half a lemon in cold water and drink it. Should work immediately.

I've suffered from acid reflux sense I was only 8 years old. It gets worse when I'm anxious or nervous,I start gagging out of no where. I learned to drink plenty of water and take my medication specifically for acid reflux everyday,but now that I'm pregnant I can't take the meds and it's driving me insane. I went through so many doctors as a kid for acid reflux and it practically ruined my childhood because I was made fun of constantly for throwing up at school. My advice, drink plenty of water throughout the day and TRY to eat breakfast. And talk to your doctor about getting a safe medication to help you.

Tums give me a nasty taste in my throat so I use Maalox (dr advised its safe). It also helps when I get a sour stomach, which happens frequently now :-/

You can get rennies from supermarket / petrol station which is basically just magnesium. I chew one of these when it's really bad and it goes away immediately!

I had it with my 3rd child. Cut out absolutely all mint and caffeine, Watermelon helps a ton, sleep on an incline and previcid worked best for me. Google it!!

Did you try tums. If that doesn't work then Zantac. Both are safe. I have chronic acid reflux so I'm on prescription meds anyways. So that's an option If the other two things don't work.
