Heavy period

This period is super heavy and my cramps are worse than they've ever been before. My placenta is coming out in huge, darker than normal chunks. A friend of mine said everything might be thrown off because I lost my virginity which kinda makes sense. About two cycles ago I lost it and the period before this current one was a little heavier/clumpier. Has anyone else had this happen after they lost their virginity? Like thicker lining and really bad cramps?
