I found out I was having an ectopic pregnancy 16th April. They initially thought it was a miscarriage until they did an internal u/s. My hcg levels were 109, 99 then went back up to 107. They gave me the option of surgery but said I would lose my tube so I had the methotrexate injection today, praying it works. I guess I was 'lucky' (if you can call it that) that I was diagnosed so quickly, the embryo had attached itself to my left ovary. Still very nervous of all the little twinges I'm getting. Does anyone know how quickly the injection works? Or any advice you can pass on to stop my anxiety would be great!
