Help Please! Is 21 dpo too late for implantation bleeding?

I am officially 3 weeks past ovulation today and have had several positive pregnancy test. I went to the hospital for spotting yesterday and the nurse told me I'm five weeks pregnant. A tech did an ultrasound and showed me what she thought could be the gestational sac but never really confirmed it. I have to go back in two days to test for beta testing. Could the spotting be implantation bleeding? Or is it too late for that? Please help me before I run myself sick.

Implantation bleeding is when the embryo implants in the uterus. If you are already getting positives it's too late for implantation bleeding. But spotting can be very normal and is common in early pregnancy. The cervix has so much extra blood flow and is so sensitive right now that it's easy to spot. If it's pink or brown it's fine. The only time to be concerned is when it's bright red and you can fill a pad. Good luck!

Thanks everyone! I got my first positive two days before my cycle. I haven't filled any pads at all and I only see the spotting when I wipe. The vaginal ultrasound definitely didn't help either. I had a chemical pregnancy last year so the first sight of any blood sends me into panic mode.

I had brown blood "spotting" at 11 weeks and was told it could have been from implantation... So no its not to late

Implantation bleeding yes. There can be normal spotting throughout pregnancy. A baby implants 6-10 days after ovulation.

I had implantation bleeding- spotting really at 8 weeks. Totally normal!
