stressing out

Amber
okay, so you've heard of the rh stuff, right? and how there's a nifty little shot you can get to prevent problems? well, my problem is a lot like rh, except it's not. I have antigens for something JK (a) or KIDD a. there is not shot for this. my antigens, if they detect the baby's blood cells, would multiply and start to attack the baby's blood cells. if this happens, baby will need a blood transfusion. if this happens before baby is 32 weeks, it will be an intra-uterine blood transfusion. if after 32 weeks, baby will need to be born early and a transfusion given after birth. hopefully, everything will be fine and none of this will be necessary, but it's a very serious issue, and is a life threatening issue, but the good news is we know about it, and my doctors are going to keep a close eye on me and baby.
ps: it's a girl 💕💗💖💓
