Not ovulating?

Question

Has anyone noticed that they have not ovulated one month and/or had low sex drive associated with this? If so, what did your dr tell you or did you find anything to help? We have been TTC for six months now. Thank you!!

My periods are the average 28 day cycles. My cycles are my line 40-45 days and my dr told me that because my cycles are so spread out that certain months I wouldn't ovulate at all. So it was important to take ovulation test to pinpoint what day would be my peak day. My hubby and I have been TTC for almost a year. At first we didn't try but we didn't not try. But since about May we have been actually tracking so it can be stressful if it doesn't happen for us in the next 3 months we will have to go to the dr. Have you tried using OPKs?
