Saying stupid thing when vulnerable

Ladies I need honest answers, if you're getting it on with your new boyfriend (or girlfriend) and you've been together for 2 weeks. So you're at their house and you're exhausted but they hint that they wanna get physical so you go for it and you do mouth and finger stuff. SO you get home after and they text you saying "don't take this personally, but could you wipe down your lady parts before we do anything. I wanted to go down on you but I just couldn't" meanwhile you swallowed for them. Would you be upset and feel extremely embarrassed and insecure like I'm feeling? Keep In mind I didn't even plan on getting physical with him.
