Act of deviance

Today I am wearing a fake pregnancy belly to school. I am doing this for an assignment (we had to do something society feels is deviant from the norm). I am finding that girls are a lot more on the extreme side than boys are. What I mean by that is, I've had girls who look at me with sympathy or girls who are outright rude. I am surprised by this. What would you say if you say a girl who appeared to be pregnant?
