My son had a lot smaller specks of blood and his pedi had me cut out on dairy and peanut butter and it went away. So could be an allergy, but def save the diaper. Call the pedi so they can see you and test the diaper

I don't know what could cause it but I'd call the doctor and see what they say if no response I'd go to the ER.
