Iron ??? Infertility??!!!

Question

I read earlier iron deficiency or anemia causes infertility ???!!!!????!!!!!!! Is this true ??????? I was diagnosed with anemia when I was younger and always have had problems with it !!!! If this is true maybe this is the reason why we haven't conceived yet??!!!!

I am severely anemic to the point that I get iron infusions and although I have had one miscarriage and have not been able to conceive other than that, my doctor says it should so me from getting pregnant.
