How do you know if you're having a miscarriage?

What are the signs of having a miscarriage if you are early in the pregnancy and didn't know for sure if you are pregnant?

Usually light bleeding turned heavy and the excruciating cramp pain. They wake you even when you're sleeping. Its like having bad contractions. It's also accompanied with heavy bleeding.

Looking back I stopped feeling prego when the pregnancy stopped developing. I didn't have the mc till 2 weeks later.

I never got sick, but doctor said it was fine. I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks heard the heartbeat and everything! I didn't know I had one until an elective ultrasound at 10 weeks. Baby measured exactly 10 weeks but no heartbeat. I didn't believe them and had 3 opinions before it hit me.

I only found out that I was loosing the baby when my hcg level started to drop. I went in for a 6 week ultrasound and then 7 weeks with no change in size or heartbeat. Blood work was done every 3 to 4 days and my hcg levels dropped significantly. Then I started spotting until I got was seemed like a very light period. Went in for a d and c shortly there after.

I was bleeding very lightly on and off for around 2 - 3 weeks, I started cramping so went to a&e who confirmed I was miscarrying. Sending you lots of love 💞

When I had mine I woke up in the early morning with TERRIBLE cramps. I couldn't sleep. After an hour of that, I felt a gush of blood, think of a waterfall and I went to the bathroom and it didn't not stop. I went to the emergency room.
