Period on metformin??...

Question

Hi! I have been on metformin for 2 1/2 months and I am 25 days late today... Dr said 2 weeks ago after a negative preg test that its prob just my body adjusting to the meds... Anyone else have this problem? I wanna take another test but I hate seeing those BFN!

I'm on that boat right now. First 2 months on Metformin I had AF was was becoming more regular now I'm CD 65. Last AF was 02/16. Dr. just prescribed Provera after taking another HPT and making sure it was negative. They said its possible to have an annovulatory cycle but told me to schedule an office visit if a cycle doesn't come after the Provera cycle. I guess I'll just have to see what they say. Maybe Metformin just doesn't work for me. Hopefully it will get figured out soon. I've been off BC since Sept. 2015 and have only had 3 or 4 periods. Just trying to be patient until that 1 year mark.
