11w, 5d OB Appointment
I had an OB appt today. I have a history of severe pre eclampsia with my daughter (1-1-11) and gestational hypertension with my son. (4-25-12)
I have to do a BP log 3x a day and bring it to my next appointment on May 16th.
I have to do a 24 hr urine before next appointment. This will be a protein baseline. Pre eclampsia is harder to diagnose when a patient is on BP medication. The odds are not in my favor as far as pre eclampsia is concerned. I have a 50% chance of having it again.
Baby took forever to find with the Doppler today. So long that I was getting nervous. It felt like I was seconds away from getting an ultrasound and then.... 💕HR 164bpm! Whew! Sweet relief! Dr. thinks it's a girl! 💕I guess we'll find out if she's right in November!
I had lots of labs drawn for all my 1st trimester stuff.
I go for my first trimester screening ultrasound next Thursday, the 28th!
Please pray that my BP stays under control this time around.
