Of course tampons/pads/pregnancy are gender specific because those things are only needed or occur in a biologically female body. I understand not "gendering" the color pink, or dresses, or dolls, but (if I understand correctly) not "gendering" pregnancy is ridiculous in my opinion.

I literally got up and walked to the bathroom to look at my tampon box after reading this.

I use U by Kotex. There's no mention of gender at all on the packaging, which is a plain black, and the wrappers are blue, green, and purple brights.

My medicine cabinet has thus far not exploded from my tampons gender neutrality. In fact I had never noticed until now that they're not gendered. I did admire the slick packaging when I purchased them. I'd bet dollars to donuts most cis women haven't noticed, but I'd be curious to learn if the trans community prefers them.

I can't with this. I get the point you're trying to make "some men have vaginas (trans folk)" but there's bigger issues to worry about. In my experience trans men don't like talking about there vaginas or period because it's a reminder of how there body is wrong and they want to be seen as men so some how I highly doubt they care if we add a man to the group of women dancing in tennis skirts on the tampon commercials. The real question is why the F are tampon commercials so happy lol

I work at a maternity store, should we start selling men's maternity clothes? Wouldn't that then be gender specific maternity clothes? 
I don't know why I can't seem to wrap my brain around this topic. I don't care if people start making men's tampons or men's maternity clothes (though that's also gender specific) but I also don't think it's our job to make everyone happy.
If a trans man is unhappy purchasing female tampons, how about he finds an alternative menstrual product? I, a female, was unhappy with tampons because of the chemicals in them so I found an alternative product.
