I'm 11dpo today - have been having so many symptoms so I caved and tested this morning, got a bfn! I knew it was a little early though. I'm going to try again in 2 days or so.

Eay too early.  Implantation is at 7-10 dpo and then the hgc needs to double a few times.  Dpo 10 is early but testable with an early response test.

I'm 5dpo.. This wait is killing me. I think I fear more that it's not gonna happen. But I'm trying to stay positive. My husband and I just started trying so this is my first cycle. I'm not sure it'll happen in my first, I wanna try to test 4-28 which will be 12dpo but I'll start testing at 10 DPO knowing me lol

Countdowntopregnancy.com has a pregnancy test calculator that tells you the best time to test. At 4dpo, your egg is still making its way to the uterus. There is no chance you would get a +. The earliest you'd get a positive is 8dpo, unless you miscalculated your o, and even then only something like 10% get even the faintest of lines.

Yes. You may not even be pregnant yet. Fertilized egg needs to implant and that happens between 6-12dpo. Then a few days after that you'd see a positive result on a hpt. Best to wait until day after missed period in case you implant on day 12
