So I started birth control last Wednesday for the first time ever when my period started and have been taking it everyday since. Usually my period lasts for only 5 days but it hasn't stopped. And it's been a little over a week. It seemed like it was done yesterday for about 5 hours it was gone and i had stopped bleeding. My boyfriend and I had sex that night, but when I went to the bathroom I was bleeding again. I don't understand why it won't go away. Has this ever happen to anyone else? Not sure what's going on with my body.
