Doctor wont see me?

I just got my medicaid back on and I was told by a near by doctor that I could t be seen with her because I was 26 weeks going on 27 weeks and that she doesn't see patients that far along. Are all the doctors like that? How am I supposed to go to the doctor when I haven't seen one in the entire pregnancy?

You should call Medicaid and ask them for a list of OB in your area. Then you should start calling them all. There has to be one that'll take you. I switched OB at 5 months with baby #1, but I had literally go down a list of OBs to find one that would the me. Good luck.

Sadly a lot of doctors won't see a patient that far a long. Is she the only doctor that the insurances takes?

You will probably have a hard time finding one. Some doctors don't want the risk of a patient who hasn't had proper prenatal care.

Yeah the other commenters are right I would call the insurance company and let them know and see if they can help you because sometimes they'll make the calls for you
