Baby monitors

So I'm trying to purchase a baby monitor but I heard a story of a man hacking into a child's baby monitor which honestly scared me because well of course you don't want anything like that to happen . I do need one because I have the blessing to take my baby with me when I go back to work but since I'm gonna be up and down I need to have one to check on her when I'm busy . So what is a good video baby monitor? Or what should I look for when I purchase one I want something safe .
