If 'said person' was close to suicide and their youngest sister (whom 'said person' raised) was what got them through it all, just the mere thought of her got this woman through all the dark times. How do i put this in serious professional manner? Is there a phrase/meaning for this?😫 like a 'scapegoat' from the terrible times for example....
