Pacifiers?

What is the best brand of pacifier for breastfed babies? She won't take the cheapie ones, but really likes sucking on mommy's finger.

We had three pacifiers and he didn't take to two and when we gave him MAM he was happily sucking away :)

Mine loves mams. But I think it's really about what your baby prefers. I don't know that one brand is better than the other in terms of function, etc. they all seem to advertise that they're recommended by someone and orthodontically approved, etc... Haha so I'd just try a few and see.

What helped my daughter with latching is NUK pacifiers. They are a little pricey, but hey she loves them

MAMs was the only one my strictly BF baby would take... Another BF mother recommended it to me... I tried 3 others before that... Including the hospital one.. Good Luck! P.S. Make sure you get the ones that are age appropriate. That plays a significant part.

My little one will only keep tommee tippee in but even then she only fancies it every now and again!! Most of the time she's happy sucking her fist or sleeve which I am worrying about, don't want her sucking her thumb as I've heard it's a really bad habit to break :/

Couldn't say mine never took one. Thank god cause I see kids that are 3 or 4 or 5 still using one. But that's the parents choice to use them and for as long as the kid wants.

Just thought I'd throw this out there- some babies never take pacifiers. None of my mother's children took them, including myself. But I do hope you find something!

Following. My 11wk old gags on: mams, nuks, playtex, tommee tippee, munchkin, soothies 😰 she's now been sucking her left fist and I'm thinking it'll turn into thumb sucking!
