Getting Braxton Hicks constantly

I'm 36 weeks and I get BH contractions constantly. Recently they've been getting more uncomfortable. On Tuesday I was in the hospital because I thought my water broke and I was having contractions that were every 2-5minutes but i wasnt dilated any. Right now, I'm just sitting down and I've had at least 3 and I guess they're irregular and i feel a lot of pelvic pressure also. Is it normal to have so many back to back? It doesn't matter if I'm standing, sitting, laying down I get them. I thought if you get so many in an hour to go to the hospital but I never do because I know they'll just send me home. Anyone esle get them frequently?
