When should I tell a guy I'm dating I only have one parent?

Is it a big deal? If it is should I bring it up and if so should I find a natural way to do so. (I'm in my early 20's so having a dead parent is unusual). What are the pros cons? We've had conversations about "parents" but never about "mom" or "dad".

It's not a deal breaker type of thing. Let it come up naturally or even mention it. I don't see a disaster happening

I have a dead parent too. my dad died in June. I'm sorry you have one too. my boyfriend and I were together when my dad died and we were also together when his mom died. I think if it's important to tell your SO, it should depend on how serious the relationship is, if you want to stay with this person for awhile, speak about it when you're together, but if it's not that serious, I'm not sure if it would be worth bringing it up.
