I want to start waring tampons but I do not now how to insert one. Any suggestions????

Sit on the toilet with your legs spread, put the plastic thing inside you and push the bottom part up to insert the cotton in you. Then throw the plastic away. I love tampons soooooo much cleaner than pads. Also the boxes usually have directions. Before I was pregnant I used the U by Kotex brand.

Start with slim size, there should be instructions on the packaging. I find it easiest to sit on the toilet, hold the base of the applicator between my 3rd and 4th fingers(middle and ring) and thumb with my 1st(pointer) finger on the insert stick. I reach from behind and start near my urethra and slide back till it lands in my vagina. Slide it in till my fingers touch skin, then push the insert stick all the way up. I then usually push it in a little more for good measure. If it sits too low in my vagina it becomes uncomfortable, but if it's too high it becomes painful. once you do it a couple times you'll find your sweet spot and developed your own routine.
