Do you like your period?

Question

Although it can be annoying, very annoying, do you actually find you like your period? Yes it can be excruciating, messy and "have a thing" for atrocious timing, but overall so you like the monthly reminder from Mother Nature that you're not pregnant?

I wish we would just get a letter in the mail from aunt flo saying "you're not pregnant " instead of a messy, crampy, moody period

I like the reminder that my reproductive system is healthy. I'm probably older then you. 
Around a year ago at 35 I didn't have a cycle for almost 3 months, was not pregnant, I had super dry skin all of a sudden, I had about 10-15 greys pop up out of no where, fine lines seemed to show up, I had a handful of night sweats. I was freaking out I thought I was going into early menopause.
Made a Dr appt, checked my hormones everything was fine. She said my hormones were fluctuating and it was normal. She said that some women have hormonal shifts as early as mid to late 20s. A week after my appt I got my cycle and things went back to normal.
So after that I'm happy to keep having a cycle.

Sometimes it makes me sad... We aren't TTC yet, but I have baby fever really bad. Sometimes I worry that I'm only having a period because I'm on the pill and it makes you have one... I'm worried sometimes about when we do start TTC that my periods will be unbearable like they were before the pill... I've been on the pill since I was 14... I'm 27 now... Who knows what my unmedicated period is like as an adult!?!
