Water breaking?!

Pretty sure my water broke this morning, I am constantly getting gushes of fuild and had to put on a pad. Do I need to worry about calling my OB or sould I wait till I start having contractions?

Call your ob. The risk of infection increases once your water breaks so most will want you to deliver within 24 hours

Once your water breaks you should go to the hospital. My water broke with both my babies & I had no contractions. Once you get to the hospital they will induce labor (dilation).

I was told to go to the hospital if my water broke. Which I did as soon as it did. I was having contractions already but pretty sure that's a "get there right away" deal for most doctors.
