How long are you all planning to breastfeed (either nursing or pumping)?

I think I heard the recommendation is at least 6 months. I'm exclusively pumping because my baby had such a difficult time nursing. It's very time consuming but of course I'm willing to do it for as long as I can because I know how  beneficial it is. But I'm curious as to how long other mom's out there are planning to do it for.

I'm not making enough milk! The stress of my baby being in NICU and me not sleeping or eating really took a toll and I don't produce enough milk in one day for even one feeding, I'm basically exclusively formula feeding my baby at this point and he's only a month old. I'm a FTM and this is killing me! It hurts me so bad and I feel like such a failure. I keep trying to feed but after 30 min of barely getting a snack he gets frustrated and needs a nearly full serving of his bottle. I'm trying the milk teas, pumping, and getting nothing. 
It was always my plan to exclusively breast feed until he was a year old. I'm hating how bad I am at this and crying every day and feeling so alone and like a horrible mommy :(

Gonna try to make it at least a year and maybe longer. I nursed my first baby for a little over a year and a half, so I'll try to make it about that long with my little lady.

I bet if u try ur baby on the boob one day, ur baby will latch right on. A lot of times after a while the babies latch automatically corrects itself

I am hoping 1 year but I don't have a great supply so def as long as I can or till 1 year.

The recommendation is one year, but any amount of nursing is beneficial!

Most people have said try to go for at least a year so that's my goal. After that I'm hoping he'll be ready to drink water and juice. And the older he gets the more I'll be offering a bottle. I feel like pumping is a lot quicker and more convenient than breast feeding. He just takes forever to eat sometimes and I hate finding a place to feed him while we're in public

I breastfed my first 2 for 14 months. Ultimately that is my goal this time too but I have been having more issues (mostly supply & latching) with this baby, so I'm kinda playing it day by day.

I got a month in and tried to go farther bit my breast didn't make enough for my boy to be full.
