No changing stations in the male restrooms??

Question

Dads what do you do in the event you're with your little one and you have no access to bathroom facilities equipped with a changing station? The backseat of the car is fine if you have leather seats that can be wiped clean.... unfortunately we have cloth so what other options are there for dads on diaper duty???

I have had full custody of my son since his birth and have had this issue more times than I can count. Being a single father you dont have the luxury of being able to hand your child over to a woman to take into the bathroom to be changed. Honestly if the establishment can not provide a changing table in The men's bathroom then i find a suitable location. Ive changed my son on the booth in restaurants before. If the establishment cannot be considerate enough to provide one then thats their luck. You do get some looks but i dont care. If I need to change my son im not going to hunt down a secluded area or pack him up and go all the way to the car. If you really want to get down to it, its sexest that only womens bathrooms have changing tables. I for one dont believe it is only the womans duty to raise and care for the children.

I'm currently building a new facility for my company and am putting changing stations in both the men and women's restrooms. I can't believe in 2016 it's not more commonplace by now.

Some men's restrooms keep the changing station in the handicap stall, if the restroom is kind of small and that's the only place with enough space for it.

Puppy pee pads.

Put them in the diaper bag and you can do diaper changes literally anywhere.

If there is a women's bathroom that has a lockable door like at a gase station( 1 person at a time) I'd use the women's just for the changing table. I had to do that one time at Noodles & Company because the men's room didn't have one. Ive also had to change a blow out in my car on cloth seats, just try laying some stuff out like extra napkins.. Always ask or take extra from restaurants you never know when they come in handy. Clean it up good with a wipe if it gets on the cloth then just use a soapy watered down rag to dab and wipe.

They have pas things you can buy to cover the area under the baby when changing them I would get one so you can Change the baby in the car
