Do you or don't you support Black Friday shopping? What are your thoughts?

I go Black Friday shopping on Friday, but I think it's really messed up that stores are opening for Black Friday on Thanksgiving - give your employees a break please!

The only Black Friday shopping I've ever done is in the afternoon after all the crazies have gone home to nap. You'd be amazed how many deals are still in good supply then.

I loathe Black Friday. Greed & materialism at its finest. I will never need a toy or an electronic device so badly that I'd get up in the middle of the night to compete with strangers in order to get it. No, thanks! I put up my Christmas tree instead :)

I think it is a little ridiculous to wait in line for hours at a time to try to buy something slightly cheaper than its actual price. While at the same time making people work on Thanksgiving in order for you to get "said" item! Where did family values go?? These people get paid shitty wages to put up with people bitching all day because they ran out of a product or something else that is completely out of their control!! Society is fucked!!!

Hell no! Last time I went shopping on a black Friday I saw an old man beat the crap out of an old lady to get some stupid thing... There was a woman who shot someone for a PlayStation one year and I've seen people literally run over others, children included to get these "hot ticket" items... I think black Friday is a ridiculous "holiday" that needs to be taken away before more people get hurt/killed over stupid ass crap

I really enjoy Black Friday shopping. Just about the only time of year I willingly go shopping. Now this whole shopping on thanksgiving thing needs to go away. Hate getting dragged out to get deals so I can afford Christmas. It's a day that's supposed to be about being with your family.

Yeah, no Black Friday here in Canada, but I don't think I'd go anyways. Too many people rushing around and hurting other to get some cheap material goods. I'll stay at home and do things I enjoy, thanks.

We have a specific holiday where we give thanks for all, and then the next go out for more. Kind of contradictory. You really can see everyone's animalistic nature on that day and I choose to just stay at home. Materialism seems to be over ruling humanism these days and it's sad.
