Poly or not poly?

Question

Am I polyamorous, or am I just sleeping around?
The guys in getting with know I'm having (safe) sex with other guys and if they care they don't want to commit for a variety of reasons. I'm okay with that; I don't have the time or energy for a boyfriend. I love each of them for their quirks and talk to them openly and comfortably and the sex is different with each of them. 
I'm not asking if it's wrong, but if it counts as polyamory? Do I have multiple lovers or does it not count if I'm not "in love" with any of them? 
So it's not exclusive, but not meaningless?

I'm in a polyamorous relationship and I'd say yours is the technical definition (i.e. many loves). Poly covers lots of types of relationships.

Polyamoury is when you have the capability to fall in love with multiple people. Polygamy is where you have multiple partners at once. What makes the difference in polygamy and sleeping around is them knowing you're doing it and being ok with it.

I'm pretty sure it's polyamorous. I don't think you have to be in love with them to be considered amorous. Polyamorous is just an intimate relationship between you and multiple people and they all know sort of thing

I'd say that it depends on a few factors. Definitions are highly personal, but I'd say that it depends on your longer-term goals.

Do you have multiple partners because you "haven't met the right one" to settle down with? You might just be casually dating with the eventual intention to find a monogamous relationship.

Is your ideal relationship non-monogamous?  You may well be inclined toward polyamory.

For those who commented above, polygamy has nothing to do with sleeping around. A quick Google search of the definition of that word should clear that up. Regarding your actual question: you can call yourself poly if that is how you identify. It seems like you have have some semi regular partners, but aren't interested in traditional committed relationships. That sounds like poly to me. You do not need to have committed relationships to be poly (though many poly peeps do it that way) Poly to me means you enjoy having multiple partners (romantic or sexual) even if you wouldn't consider yourself 'dating'. I would honestly consider anything that isn't monogamous to be under the poly umbrella. At the end of the day, labels don't matter that much and calling yourself poly gets the point across you aren't looking for a monogamous committed relationship.

I think if it's just shagging but not love it's polygamy. polyamory would be if u were in love w them too (I think).
