10 year age gap?

So I'm almost 20 years old and my friend is trying to set me up with her work friend who is 30, he also has two kids. I love kids and actually want my own in the near future, so that's no problem for me, it's mainly the age thing. He's a really nice guy but I just think I'm too young? Like what if he thinks I'm immature? Should I just go for it?

If you're into him and he's into you what the hell does it matter if there's an age difference? As long as you're not breaking any laws, do what you want and live your life. Live for YOU and don't worry about what people think.

You don't sound immature at all. I question two things though. First, why your friend would want to fix you up with someone that old. Second, why he would agree. Ten years is a big difference. You have just got got out of your teens and starting your life as an adult. He will only hold you back and he has children. You can do better, much better. A guy closer to your age will understand you better because you will experience similar things. Know that someone better will come along.

Age doesn't matter. It honestly took me a while to learn that. But now that I have I'm happier. So go for it. You'll never know if you don't try.
