I am going through this alone, the father bailed when I told him I was pregnant. I want to announce that I'm expecting to my friends and family but feel kind of awkward. I'm really excited about this baby. I've always wanted to be a mother and this is the way it's happening! I know this isn't the traditional way to have a baby and I'm worried that my loved ones won't approve or will offer all sorts of unsolicited advice. What do you think? Should I announce in a cute way? Keep it a secret? Help!
