My dude is 3 months and I have let him sample oatmeal cereal and he ate it up and wanted more! Haha like I said I only gave a little but he's also tasted applesauce before and sweet potatoes.

It's recommended they have rice cereal for one week to get used to the texture and then switch to the oatmeal. No earlier than 4 months.
