How much solid food is your 8 month old eating?

Just out of curiosity what, and how much solid food is your little one eating? Give example of your feeding schedules! Thanks !

My LO is 8.5mths and eats 8-9oz of stage 2 or 3 beech nut organic baby food and 25oz of formula a day. Her last 5oz bottle of the night gets 2 tea spoons of rice cereal. And she also gets snacks like yogurt melts and puffs.

Our boy is eating stage 2 foods and around 4 oz 2x a day for a snack! He loves solids! I should add that we skipped grains and went right to veggies and fruits 👍

Great question as I'm wondering the same! My boy isn't crazy about food... Did oatmeal for about 2 weeks around 5 months and then stopped wanted only breast again. Kept trying different things and about 6.5 months he started taking bites again. Not crazy about purees. I just keep trying every night. Stage 2 foods and some puréed fruit/veggies... He likes yogurt, ate about half the container last night, has tried apples, bananas, pears, peas, sweet potato, a pureed spaghetti with meat, sucked blueberries through the strainer... Taking about 10 bites of each and that's it. Loves the breast! So I just keep trying. He takes about 20oz of breast milk at daycare (2 7oz bottles, 1 5-6oz bottle) and then nurses at night and in the morning.

He basically eats breakfast, lunch, and dinner. He's nursed or bottle fed every 4 hours, then and hour and a half to two hours later he's fed pureed food.

8:15am - breakfast (1/2 cup fruit and plain Greek yogurt)
10:15pm - 5 oz bottle
1:15pm - 5 oz bottle
4:15pm - 6 oz bottle
5:15pm - dinner (2/3 cup steamed veggies with quinoa, chicken or turkey)
6:45pm - nurse

He also has light snacks once or twice a day - puffs, Cheerios, etc.

Almost 9months and she eats 1jar fruit with cereal in the morning and 1jar veg at lunch and one jar of both at dinner and a bottle/ nursing in between each meal. She will be starting meat at 9months so I will do the same for breakfast and lunch and dinner she will do half a jar of all three things and then table foods at 10 months.

My 8mo old is in a hurry to be a teenager I think. lol! She wants to do everything herself. She will usually eat 2oz of a fruit and yogurt in the morning and then 2-3oz of a veggie at night, but she always wants bites of what we are eating. I try to keep part of what I'm cooking with no added salt and if it's soft we give her several pieces she can feed herself. Yesterday she had asparagus, broccoli, and chicken parm.

My 8 month is eating 3-4 meals a day. Breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. Sometimes we can skip his snack but he loves his food! His pediatrician said that he's right on track for growth and to keep feeding him food if he wants it.
