Strained testicle ?

My son is a month old today. Last night before bath I noticed his right testicle was a little swollen and it's a little more swollen today. He doesn't have fever at all and it doesn't hurt him when I touch it or wipe him. Has anyone else had this happen ? He has a dr appointment Monday but I didn't know if I should be concerned about it enough to call in the morning.

Went to the doctor this morning! It's called hydrocele. Basically, where they decended down isn't closed up all the way and it just has fluid on it. She said it's very very common in little boys and will most likely not get any bigger and will also be gone by his first birthday! Thank goodness, because I was worried to death all weekend!

My son has a hernia causing the right testicle to be more swollen. It fluctuates in size. It is called an inguinal hernia if you want to look into it. Not sure if it's the same thing. Keep us posted.

Is it red? If so it could be twisted and that has to be corrected immediately
