OB issues?

Question

Is anyone already encountering issues with their doctor office? I've been trying to contact them about some testing/results for a whole week and always get told to leave a message or call back tomorrow or wait til they call me back... with no call back. I understand they have other patients and its not like I'm ringing the phone off the hook. But I can't get ahold of anyone..

Yes so far I have been completely unimpressed. I will be meeting with the actual dr. in a few weeks (so far I've only met with nurses) and if things don't change I am going to change Drs.

Really unimpressed.
When I called to book my 1st appts March 29th I told them that our fertility specialist at our last duty station told me that due to a hormone Imbalance I would need medication very quickly in order to sustain a pregnancy, their response..."our next available appt for new patients is mid april" (luckily they had a cancelation and I got in in a week)
1st appt I told midwife the same thing and even gave them my paperwork from specialist...her response.."we don't really do hormones here we just Do an ultrasound for viability". I asked her to talk to the Dr and check about getting some and he prescribed me progesterone vaginally suppositories. This was a late appt on a Friday so they were closed when the pharmacy told me that they would have to order them and that tricare only covers the oral pills and supps would be $250 but if I ask my Dr to call in a prescription change Monday I could pick them up that afternoon. Well 5 phone calls and 1 voice-mail later with no prescription it was time for my ultrasound on Thursday so I just had to get the change in prescription then. 
Asked for my blood test results that they did AFTER I told them about this and not only did they not check my progesterone they didn't even check my hcg levels, she said they don't routinely check them.
Now when we are their they are really lovely but still don't see why they were recommended so highly,  I'm now 6 days from my next appt and praying everything's still ok

My first time around I did. The OB was horrible anyways, I would have a 9:00 am appointment and I would be shown back until 11:00. Then I would have to wait (NAKED) for another hour. Test results were never communicated....
This time? I have different insurance (Kaiser) and I can email them or call 7 days a week 24 hours a day and get an answer immediately/quickly.

I also had an appointment with a high risk dr on Tuesday and then another one scheduled on Friday with my midwife. My midwife got an automatic update on that appointment with the high risk specialist and she called to tell me that I don't have to come in unless I have more questions since the high risk dr ordered blood work already. My husband was in shock, he was all "what kind of dr turns away business? Don't they pump insurance companies for any and all extras they can?" Iol.

I went to the office and told them i wasn't going to leave till i got a copy lol.

I had [stat] prenatal labs drawn at my first appointment. I kept calling to see if the results came back and they just said they would call me as soon as the results came back. They never did. They just ended up waiting to tell me the results at my next appointment a week later.
