It's so funny, I thought our world had gotten to a place where interracial dating was normal. However, the other day we were at a dinner party at a friends house. We are at the age where people expect you to start having kids. We don't want any, but we always get asked about it. Well that night the question came loaded. Random lady at party: "soooo do you two have any kids? No? Well when are you going to start?" We said kids just aren't in the cards for us. Then she said, "Ohhhh that's a shame, interracial babies are the cutest!" We looked at each other bewildered. We have never thought of ourselves as an interracial couple. I'm half polish/half hispanic and he's basically half Italian/half norweign. We are pretty much the same color so it was just such a weird comment. I included a pic of us for reference. We don't LOOK "interracial" enough for someone to make a comment like that. I wasn't offended by being called that, I just thought that term was kinda dead. It was bizarre. What do you ladies think?

This is such a dated question for me. Its not a thing anymore to be surprised at interracial couples. Just my opinion though.
